Our client is a long-established property management firm with 15+ years in the Davis rental market. Managing a 400-home portfolio across Davis, Woodland, Winters, and West Sacramento, they’re known for transparency, responsive service, and reliable systems that keep vacancy rates consistently low.
Your Role
You’ll be the organizational backbone supporting accounting, property operations, and communication. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, steady learning, and contributing to a well-run, community-focused business.
You’ll:
Process invoices, rent postings, and deposits accurately in AppFolio
Maintain organized digital and paper records for accounting and leases
Communicate clearly with tenants, vendors, and property owners
Track expenses and assist with reconciliations and reporting
Coordinate maintenance requests and inspection scheduling
Prepare basic reports and support owner statement processing
Handle office coordination, supplies, and mail management
Follow daily and monthly checklists for consistent accuracy
You Bring:
1–3 years of administrative, bookkeeping, or office coordination experience
Strong attention to detail and dependable follow-through
Clear communication and professional service mindset
Comfort learning tools like AppFolio, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace
Strong organization in hybrid or in-office environments
Eagerness to learn real estate operations and accounting systems
Bonus Points:
Experience in property management or accounting support
Familiarity with zInspector or similar maintenance tracking tools
Basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
Interest in pursuing a California real estate license
What’s Offered:
~$48,000–$68,000 USD (flexible based on experience)
Choice of hybrid or in-office schedule (2–3 days/week in Davis)
PTO: 15 days + 10 paid holidays
